They are an extremely talented group and a good number of them are well educated and highly qualified. <br /><br />I don't know that this would be considered nepotism as it seems the spouse was hired after the AS left the bureau. But it still stinks. <br /><br />What I's like to know is how many highly qualified spouses of entry-level or midlevel FSOs were hired for jobs that did not exist before they were hired? <br /><br />If a bureau at DOS hires a highly qualified spouse of a high ranking officer/previously high ranking official at the bureau for a job that was not there before, should not the bureau hire highly qualified spouses of a entry-level or midlevel officers, as well? <br /><br />If this is a new trend, great! I'd like to see personalized job creation for all EFMs based on talents and qualifications. For instance I am and FSO and my husband is a US educated attorney with a JD.
