I was assigned to Fort Buchanan, San Juan PR, for two years, during which I received a steady stream of visiting U.S. Deputy Marshals and other Federal law enforcement types, most of whom asked me whether the island was a state, or a country, or what. <br /><br />When I PCS'd back to the U.S., I couldn't cash a check from Banco Popular because, as the bank manager told me, it was made out for some kind of foreign currency called "dólares."TSBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02790614121966204073noreply@blogger.com
