If that attack on US ConGen Ciudad Juarez was not a targeted attack against US interest, well, then this latest bombing of the U.S. Consulate General in Nuevo Laredo certainly looks targeted and intentional.  US ConGen Nuevo Laredo has issued a Warden Message dated April 10:

At approximately 11 pm the night of April 9, an explosive device was thrown over the fence of the U.S. Consulate General in Nuevo Laredo.  There were no injuries, but windows were damaged.  Authorities are investigating the explosion. The Consulate General and the Consular Agency in Piedras Negras will be closed to the public on Monday, April 12. The Consulate General and Consular Agency will reopen when we are confident that we have adequate security to keep our visitors safe.

I am sure a knucklehead LEGATT will give a press conference saying that they have no evidence that the firebombing was specifically targeting the consulate. Ya know, maybe it was just random or something. How come DS doesn't take the lead on these things?
