On December 14, the SFRC cleared the following executive nominations for the State Department, USAID, OPIC. MCC and represenatives to the 65th UNGA. Nominations now go to full Senate vote.  Not sure if that is going to happen before they close shop for the year.

* 1222 Gregory J. Nickels, of Washington, to be an Alternate Representative of the United States of America to the Sixty-fifth Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The nominations of three career FSOs to the rank of career ambassador were tabled in the SFRC's December 14 business meeting, but does not appear to have gone out of committee (at least they're not listed as reported by Mr. Kerry in the Senate's executive calendar).

Corrections:
The Senate Executive Calendar dated December 22, includes the following, so the nominations of the three FSOs to the rank of career ambassador did make it out of the SFRC:

PN2354 FOREIGN SERVICE nominations (3) beginning James Franklin Jeffrey, and ending Earl A. Wayne, which nominations were received by the Senate and appeared in the Congressional Record of November 18, 2010.
